Abstract
The pager explosions in Lebanon yielded an unprecedented number of hand injuries. Forty-five patients (49 affected hands) presented with 123 amputations and 34 fractures. Emergency surgeries were mostly trimming of the stumps and immediate coverage with local skin flaps.
