Abstract
Prescription Digital Therapeutics (PDTs) deliver evidence-based treatments through FDA-cleared software. Despite demonstrated impact internationally, particularly in Germany, outdated U.S. reimbursement structures restrict access. Modernizing benefit pathways to align with the clinical rigor of PDTs can expand patient access, reduce healthcare costs, and improve outcomes. Timely action is critical to bridge care gaps, ensuring that patients receive safe, effective digital interventions supported by evidence and regulatory oversight.
