Abstract
This Technical Note presents an improved fluid management method using high-low positioned fluid bags in shoulder arthroscopy. By adjusting the hanging heights of two 3-L saline bags with a height difference of 20 to 30 cm, this technique effectively addresses the issues of operative space pressure instability, air bubble introduction, and inefficient surgical team cooperation during fluid replacement in traditional fluid management. Whether in the absence or presence of a mechanical pump, this approach ensures stable fluid irrigation, improves surgical visibility, and enhances the overall surgical experience. The simple and cost-effective nature of this technique makes it suitable for implementation in various clinical settings.
