Abstract
Disability justice advocate, Alice Wong died on November 14, 2025. To honor her legacy, rehabilitation clinicians are encouraged to incorporate disability justice principles into their clinical practices. The medical model of framing disability as a problem to be solved perpetuates ableism. Infusing justice-based anti-ableist concepts into clinical care, training and institutional operations can help improve health outcomes for people with disabilities.
