Abstract
<i>Klebsiella pneumoniae</i> intestinal colonization contributes to infectious and non-infectious diseases. Recent studies have uncovered the complex interplay between the gut microbiota and <i>K. pneumoniae</i> colonization, highlighting its role in disease development and progression and illustrating the potential of microbiome-based therapies.
