The British Journal of Anaesthesia Special Issue on Women in Anaesthesia Research: enhancing visibility and celebrating success.

Abstract

The aim of this Special Issue is to showcase the high-quality research being conducted by women researchers in anaesthesia and related specialities from around the world. We solicited manuscripts reporting original research and commentary on any topic in anaesthesia, pain medicine, perioperative medicine, critical care medicine, and related specialties. The included articles exemplify the broad range of interests of women in anaesthesia research and their expertise in laboratory research, observational studies, qualitative studies, bibliometric studies, and randomised controlled trials, and as commentators and opinion leaders.
