Editorial Commentary: Excessive Femoral Anteversion Adversely Affects Clinical Outcomes Following Hip Arthroscopy for Femoroacetabular Impingement Syndrome.

Abstract

Excessive femoral anteversion is related to inferior patient reports outcomes after hiparthroscopy. While hip femoral acetabular impingement is a more common diagnosis, awareness of the importance of femoral version for prognosis following hip arthroscopy is growing. An algorithm for the practical assessment of clinically significant femoral version is proposed.
