Abstract
The inclusion of the palmar plate of the distal interphalangeal joint in the repair of flexor digitorum profundus tendon avulsion injuries has been described in acute cases. We present a case series reporting the technique in patients with delayed presentation.<b>Level of evidence:</b> III (Retrospective comparative study).
