Abstract
Using a large U.S. hospital database, we described 13,177 candidemia-associated hospitalizations during 2016-2024. In 2024, Candida glabrata surpassed C. albicans, and C. auris, previously rare, ranked fifth. These findings underscore the importance of ongoing surveillance and adherence to guidelines for candidemia treatment and testing.
