Abstract
Every year, the World Health Organization (WHO) celebrates World Immunisation Week to promote the power of vaccination in protecting people of all ages and backgrounds against vaccine-preventable diseases. This year’s campaign “for every generation, vaccines work”, reinforces how vaccines are safe, effective and have saved millions of lives, and it also aims to strengthen public understanding of the power of vaccines.
