Abstract
Parents of children with congenital hand and upper limb differences must often make decisions about surgery early in life. This national survey identified the main factors influencing parental decision-making, highlighting the importance of trust in the surgeon, second opinions and peer support networks.<b>Level of evidence:</b> IV.
