Abstract
Meningitis is a condition characterized by inflammation of the meninges that can lead to severe neurological dysfunction and mortality. Epidural steroid injection is a common procedure performed for lumbar radiculopathy and the procedure has its risk and complications such as pneumocephalus, postural headache, meningitis, arachnoiditis, hematoma, abscess, and conus medullaris syndrome. Here, we discuss a case of complicated bacterial meningitis following epidural steroid injection.
