Abstract
Lateral collateral ligament imbrication has been reported to yield good results in patients with atraumatic posterolateral rotatory instability who do not respond to conservative treatment. In cases of high-grade instability, however, achieving adequate ligament tension can be difficult, and excessive tightening often contributes to postoperative stiffness. Reconstruction of the lateral ulnar collateral ligament with a tendon graft offers an alternative, restoring stability through a dynamic "sling effect" rather than rigid constraint. This technical note outlines an arthroscopically assisted lateral collateral ligament reconstruction technique aimed at minimizing soft tissue disruption, with the goal of reducing stiffness and facilitating earlier functional recovery.
