Abstract
A 74-year-old female presented to clinic 9 years after successful bilateral medialization thyroplasty surgery with new onset voice deterioration. This coincided with a 25-pound weight loss while taking semaglutide. Evaluation revealed marked vocal fold atrophy and glottic insufficiency. She underwent successful revision thyroplasty surgery to accommodate functional voice quality changes concurrent with rapid weight loss on GLP1 agonist.
