Abstract
Myelolipoma is an uncommon, nonmalignant neoplasm characterized by the presence of mature fat cells and normally differentiated hematopoietic elements. While adrenal involvement is the most common anatomic location, pulmonary myelolipomas are exceptionally rare. To date, the 18 F-FDG PET/CT imaging profile of intrapulmonary myelolipomas has been scarcely documented and remains incompletely understood. Here, we report a diagnostically ambiguous case of intrapulmonary myelolipoma and comprehensively evaluate its 18 F-FDG PET/CT features.
