Abstract
Palmaris profundus is a rare accessory flexor muscle with several recognized variants. We report the incidental intraoperative identification of a type V variant during forearm surgery. This variant may have different clinical implications than the more common subtypes.<b>Level of Evidence:</b> V (Case Report).
