Abstract
Vascular access is a pervasive facet of contemporary neonatal practice, yet it lacks standardization, and some practices lack supporting evidence. This recommendation provides neonatal healthcare providers with evidence-based guidance for the safe insertion, securement, and management of intra-arterial catheters (IACs) in neonates. Taken together these steps aim to enhance the safety and efficacy of IAC insertion in neonatal population.
