Abstract
A newly developed prefabricated free hypogastric flap was used in three patients. Although the total clinical results were far from satisfactory, including one complete necrosis due to vascular thrombosis, we think that it is a useful free flap with a long vascular pedicle and a large diameter and that some future hopes exist in the secondary flap era.
