Abstract
Those in the highest 20th percentile of dietary intake of carotenoids had a 43% lower risk of age-related macular degeneration. Rifabutin was implicated as causing hypopyon uveitis. The National Eye Institute issued a Clinical Alert advising against the use of optic nerve decompression for nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy.
