Abstract
The clinical and radiologic presentation of antibiotic-modified osteomyelitis closely resembles primary subacute pyogenic osteomyelitis. The widespread use of antibiotics has increased the incidence of this entity. When a patient is found to have a solitary bone lesion, a careful history should include inquiries regarding recent antibiotic therapy for any condition.
