Abstract
To describe an operative technique for repair of recurrent rectovaginal fistulas. A diamond-shaped cutaneous flap advancement into the vagina and a standard endoanal advancement flap are described for use as an alternative option in treatment of recurrent rectovaginal fistulas. Complete healing of fistula was achieved with no impairment of continence. This technique is suitable in treatment of recurrent rectovaginal fistulas especially in frail and elderly patients.
