Abstract
To describe the spontaneous collapse of primary acquired iris stromal cysts. We reviewed the medical records, clinical findings, and ultrasonography of two patients who had been followed up for primary acquired iris stromal cysts. During follow-up, both patients experienced spontaneous collapse of their cysts, which resulted in membrane formation on the peripheral corneal endothelium, localized peripheral anterior synechiae, ectropion uveae, and slightly peaked pupil. Primary acquired iris stromal cysts may undergo spontaneous collapse, resulting in clinical findings similar to other anterior segment disorders.
