Abstract

This article discusses the technique of cervical electrosurgical loop excision, which allows for treatment of premalignant conditions of the cervix. The primary goal of cervical loop excision is to provide a method of managing preneoplastic cervical conditions in a safe, effective manner while minimizing the chance of missing invasive cancer.
