Abstract
The purpose of this study was to obtain high-resolution MR images of the various components of the anal sphincter complex in children who have anorectal disorders. We therefore used dedicated endoanal receiver coils for MR imaging. Our pilot study suggested that MR imaging that uses a dedicated endoanal coil may have considerable diagnostic potential in children who have anorectal disorders.
