Abstract
This article focuses on three holistic manual therapy techniques: Myofascial Release, Trager Psychophysical Integration and Therapeutic Touch. The theories and principles of each technique, indications and contraindications for treatment, an overview of the actual approach, and case studies are outlined, and the principles that make them effective complementary therapies in health care are discussed.
