Abstract
To describe two cases of zone III retinopathy of prematurity associated with macular folds and poor vision. Case reports. Two premature infants with zone III retinopathy of prematurity developed clinically notable elevation of the neovascular ridge with macular folds and poor vision. Retinopathy of prematurity in zone III may lead to compromised anatomic and functional outcomes. Notable elevation of the neovascular ridge may be an important risk factor for an adverse outcome.
